Brands like African Pride, Soft Sheen Carson and Creme of Nature have long been popular brands of choice for the shelves of Jamaican beauty supply stores and supermarkets. Recently, however, brands like Mixed Chicks, Jane Carter and nuNaat are now available! Discount Beauty in Kings Plaza, St. Andrew, Jamaica has expanded their list of products. I even requested my much loved African Royale Braids Spray which was added to their list of product inquiries. (African Royale Braids Spray is an excellent moisturizer on braids or loose natural hair. I used it daily when I can get my hands on it.)
It is refreshing to see a store respond to the needs of their customers. Go to Discount Beauty and see if they carry the line of products you like... and request African Royal Braids Spray just for me. lol. Just kidding - kind of. Write your local beauty supply stores and request the products you want to see on the shelves today and encourage your friends to do the same.
