I've Been Tagged by Nicole Webster

My girl and resident KiK makeup artist, Nicole Webster,  tagged me on her blog. Of course, I had to respond. She has a beauty blog and I'm more about hair but I still thought this would be fun. See my answers to her questions below.

1) What is your signature color to wear? ( makeup or clothes)

I know black and white are shades, not colours, but they are staples in my wardrobe. 

2) Gloss or Lipstick and why?

Gloss. I easily get chapped lips and gloss is easier for me to maintain. 

3) If you were on a deserted island and can only have 3 cosmetic items, what would they be?

I wouldn't need makeup on a deserted island but assuming that I'm there with other people - Face powder/foundation, lip balm and a good cleanser. LOL. 

4) If you could only watch one show, which of the following would it be: Gossip girl, pretty little liars, 90210?

I'd rather not watch TV if those are the options. LOL. Sorry. (blush)

5) Where is your all time favourite vacation spot?

Ohhh.  I enjoyed Ghana a lot but can't say that I felt comfortable going out alone and felt a bit limited in my options so let me be patriotic and say JAMAICA baby! I love the quiet of Negril and the clearness of the water. It's just the ideal retreat.

6) When pressed for time and in a rush, what are you throwing on your face?

I use either Jordana face powder or Milani Cream to Powder Foundation (love!).

7) What type of style is your hair normally in?

I am locking my hair so I usually just let it flow free. I'm trying to do more styling now. 

8) What is your favourite name brand?

Uhmmm. I dunno I'm not really a brand person. I Like PUMA sneakers but I'm not really a sneakers person. LOL. Hey, I just go with what works. 

9) Do you use a watch or your phone to tell the time?

 I use both!

10) What makeup item did you splurge on recently?

I tried the L'oreal Infallible Lipcolour. I hated it! It peeled and cracked. I tried it 3 times. It was a total waste of money. I only had it on for 3 hours. I have extremely cheap lipsticks that work better than that. 

11) Favourite Youtube beauty guru?

No gurus. LOL. Sorry. I'm just not a big fan person but I do follow http://nicolewebstermakeup.blogspot.com/!
