Old makeup can be very harmful to your skin, causing infections from bacteria. Our resident makeup expert, Nicole Webster, has all the main things that you should consider when spring cleaning your makeup.
So Remember!
Liquid Makeup – no more than 1 year or earlier if it smells bad or starts to separate
Mascara – 2-3 months
Lipstick – 2 years (Thank God. I've got a few)
Powder – 3 years or when it becomes difficult to use
Brush Tip!
Deep clean your brush twice a month and do a light cleaning once a week
