Full eyebrows are in so it's becoming easier to groom our own brows. Want to save the US $120 a year from spending $10 getting your brows done every month? Keep reading to learn how to groom your brows for a naturally fabulous look.
TOP 5 CONSIDERATIONS
Here are KiK's top 5 considerations for starting to groom brows at home:
- Get your brows professionally done by someone you trust then maintain that perfect shape at home via plucking. Check your brows every morning to get rid of stray hairs (plucking/tweezing works well for this). Never let your brows overgrow and you should be fine.
- Grow out your natural brow as much as possible. This allows you the perfect base and shows where your brow will naturally grow for you consistently. It's always best to work with what you've got.
- Outline your eye with a white pencil to see the shape that you want. After this, you can go ahead and safely remove the hairs around the lines.
- Avoid over-plucking. Go little by very little. It is easier to fix a bushy brow than a sparse one.
- Don't do anything before you watch the video below.
If you have virgin brows, a simple bit of grooming may do. If you don't, grow your brows out as much as possible Using a razor will probably be the easiest way for you to start. Check out the tutorial below to see the best way to shape and trim virgin brows.
If you need to fill in your brows, I recommend that you watch the video below. The technique works even if the ends of your brows are invisible and is far more natural-looking than many other techniques around.

MORE TIPS
- Ensure that you aren't rushing and have lots of time to perfect your brows.
- If you're waxing. Ensure that you skin is not moist. If it is, dust a bit of translucent powder over the brow before you apply the way. If your skin is moist, the wax will not adhere to the skin.
- Use medium brown eye shadow to fill in sparse areas of your brow. It will give it a thicker, natural look.
- Tweezing is a great way to maintain the shape of your brow once you've perfected it. Check your brow daily to remove stray hairs.
