jam has a ton of alcohol and is very drying. Aloe gel is better especially to kinky hair that need gentle handling and is prone to dryness.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. Somehow it doesn't make my hair dry at all though. I tried aloe recently and it didn't give me any hold. I'm planning on trying it with a twist out however. Will let you all know how it goes.
ReplyDeleteJam makes my hair greasy, definitely not dry. I just don't use it anymore because of the ingredient. When I need hold to slick back my hair, I use Aveda Brilliant Gel, Fantasia IC, or Softee Ge.
