Well this is a side bun that was done on flat-ironed hair. I find that sometimes I think style means complicated. Sometimes all you need is simple and sleek and if I may say so, sophisticated. (I really hope my curl pattern returns after this extreme flat-iron :).
Keep It kinky.
Love it! You look gorgeous dear!
ReplyDeleteVery sleek. I'm loving the eyeshadow too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks really good, but i'm here with you hun, hoping your curl reverts back to normal.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ladies
ReplyDeleteHi. I'm a pretty frequent reader. But I was just wondering how difficult it was for you to flat iron the hair close to your scalp? Was it easy with the maxiglide or did you have to use a hot comb?
ReplyDeleteIt's easy with the maxiglide. If it is on the hottest setting it can get a little tricky not to burn your scalp but you really shouldn't be on the hottest setting anyway. I can even let it touch my scalp when it's on medium settings (5,6,7). You should try the glide. Just don't burn your hair the way I did. I'm sure to have some permanent damage from the harsh flat iron but I've done it successfully with the glide on medium settings many times before.
ReplyDeleteOh girl I am soo loving this hair and the eyes and the scarf - I am loving the whole ensemble.
ReplyDeleteOh my this bun is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeletethis style is very cute.i read from another comment that you used a maxiglide.which heat setting did you put it on?.also what kind of heat protectant did you use? also i must add that your eyeshadow is lovely!
ReplyDeleteHey Nellie,
ReplyDeleteI used Cantu Shea butter Leave In for my heat protectant. I really didn't step up my protection this time around. I've never had a problem with my hair being protected before though. I usually use my maxiglide on setting 7 but this time it was on the highest. Yeah - I wouldn't recommend that however. I did this out of frustration. Never flat iron when you're frustrated or angry. lol.
