Braids Wash Day

It's wash day! I've had my braids in for about 2 weeks now. Between the disgusting gunk and white flakes on my scalp and the itching, it's definitely time to wash my hair. I'll be using extra virgin coconut oil I got from the health food store on my scalp since I don't have the spray she's talking about in the video. (The video below shows you how I apply the shampoo to my hair and how I apply the oil as well.)

Tips for Washing Braids
  1. Use a clear shampoo on the scalp (it's easier to wash out).
  2. Use a natural oil on your scalp. Oiling your hair may cause too much build-up and cause your hair to mat.
  3. Use a braids spray mixed with Infusium 21 on your hair to maintain strength andadd moisture.
100 Day Challenge Update

I have 68 Days left on my 100 Day Challenge. I have some decent growth after two weeks of Rope Twists with Kanekalon hair. I'll be doing more tutorials soon so don't forget to subscribe!
