Myth: You must oil your scalp every night and morning to keep it healthy.
Truth: Petrolatum and mineral-based oils can clog your pores, stunting growth and offsetting the scalp's natural, healthy PH. balance.
Proposition: Oil your scalp with a light, moisturizing oil like jojoba or coconut oil. Natural oils are light, moisturizing, and allow the scalp to breathe without blocking pores and hindering growth.
Are you sure it does not block the poor or hinder growth? Is it scientifically verified ? I mean it sits on the scalp so it keeps the dead cells down and the cells turn over is slower so the growth is suppose to be slower. It is suppose to hinder growth at least a little beat even if it is not us much as the heavy ones. People that have acne know that when they put oil in their face they have more pimples becuz it adds to the natural oil of the scalp and bloc the pors.
ReplyDeleteI doubt it hinders growth significantly, especially if you are cleansing the scalp regularly.
