Orly Won't Chip and Top2 Bottom Review

Orly Won't Chip and Orly Top2 Bottom Nail Polishes
In an effort to find a longer-lasting nail polish situation, I went in search of Orly's Won't Chip. I was pretty much sold on the idea after watching a YouTube video online that sounded a bit too good to be true so I had to try it for myself.

Orly's Won't Chip Protective Polymer Shield is thicker than my usual topcoat. It does leave a nice sheen and does not leave a noticeably thick coat on the nail. My polish lasted a total of 6 days with zero chipping after several dish-washing and hair shampooing sessions. On the seventh day, I noticed one chip and that the tips were rubbing down just a tiny bit. On day 8 I did a massive amount of gardening which summoned the end of my fingernail polish. My toenails, now, on day 11 look like I got them done two days ago. Needless to say, I'm impressed. I'm actually thinking of changing the toenail polish just because I'm bored of the colour.

As my basecoat, I used Orly Top2Bottom which acts as both a base and topcoat. It has a nice, thin consistency that seems to have a barely there feel. I hate the thick coats of base that only add to the bulkiness of the overall polish job. When I touch my nail I want to feel the nail, not the polish.

I tried the Orly nail polish colour pictured above. I tried using it alone without the top or base coat and after one day, it's already rubbing off at the tips so the longevity of the nail job is definitely due to the Won't Chip top coat.
