Got Heat Damage?

My natural hair texture after being flat-ironed then washed.

Did I get heat damage? Well, if you know my hair well, the picture above already answers that question. Still not sure? Watch the video below.

I should be anxious or upset, but, I'm not. I'm fine - perfectly fine. I know it's weird, but it's just hair and I love to experiment and this is what happens when you experiment too much with heat and colour. I guess it's not that bad and frankly, my hair is still curly in most parts. If you watched the video above, you'd see my overall thoughts.

Will I use heat again? LOL. Probably. The stylist was using an old school metal iron with no heat settings. I don't plan to flat iron tomorrow or anything but I will go back to my old heat protectant (not using the Dudley's Creme Press that she used) and blow-dry my hair. I've never ever had a problem with heat damage when blow-drying on my own hair.  I have also considered wearing my hair straight for a while. I dunno about that now.

Stay tuned to see if I'll cut or grow out my heat damaged hair. I'm not gonna tell. Hey, you know me. I'm the queen of change. Rihanna and Madonna have nothing on me. LOL.

The video on my flat iron experience is coming soon.
