Locs Out and Natural Hair Flat-ironed

My flat-ironed hair after removing the locs

I've taken out my locs and flat-ironed my natural hair! It's been rough guys. It took me 2 1/2  weeks to detangle my locs and my arms were reaaaally hurting. I was even tired after doing my old-school roller-set last night. My arms are just spent but I do have some definition in my thick arms now. LOL. I don't endorse these old-school rollers (pictured below) as they are very uncomfortable to sleep with.

The picture below shows some of the hair that was trimmed. The stylist took off more or less 1 inch all around. She washed, blow-dried and flat-ironed my hair with Dudley's Creme Press. I'm still waiting on her to use a large tooth comb in my hair but whatever. I'm just hoping that I have no heat damage and she does a good job with her daughter's natural hair as far as maintaining the flat ironing process without heat damage. I went there for a good trim and I got a good trim.

I am enjoying my loose hair. It's really hot and I'm really sweaty (ewww)  so I can already see parts of my hair reverting. See the video below to see how I set my hair. I'm basically just using shea butter and oil to keep my hair moisturized. Watch the video below to see me take down my rollerset and more.
