It's not in season and hasn't been for a while but a red nail is classic. I decided to add a bit of spice with some black polish topped off with multi-coloured hair-like glitter. Keep going to see how I created the look above and how the colours look indoors. The red is a little more intense and dark but is still a vibrant vampy colour whether in direct sunlight or not.

Polishes Used

Red Carnation – L.A. COLORS
Pretty and applies easily, smoothly and opaquely in one coat. Unfortunately, it also rubs off easily so you MUST wear a thick layer of topcoat to make this colour last.

Black Velvet – L.A. Girl
It doesn't die. It's a one-coat-wonder colour but you can do two to make it more vibrant just like Red Carnation. It's flawless and goes on smooth - no streaking. You can't go wrong with this one.

Supernova – L.A Girl Rock Star (Glitter)
I like it a lot. The first picture is a pretty accurate view of how it appears to the eye. It's dreamy BUT the colour has a nasty grey base. As a result, it does not wear well over bright colours.
