In Jamaica we call them Chiney Bumps. Now let me be completely honest. I really wish I had the guts to try a style like this. Perhaps I should make it my mission or hurdle to jump before the end of the year. This style is for the bold woman who is 100% comfortable with herself and al about showing her personality. I think it is without a doubt one of the most beautiful ethnic styles known to man and it doesn't hurt that it leaves a nice style behind. See the post below for a tutorial.

I would say yes. The size of the knots however will be determined by the thickness of your hair. You could also do this with braids.
