Transitioning or Natural: A great Hairstyle tutorial.

I recommend doing at least six plaits for a more defined twist-out. The more plaits you do, the more defined your braid-out. I also keep my fingers oils to smoothly remove the plaits. This can also add sheen and gloss.

  1. So I am assuming she is transitioning? It's a great idea. I wish I had done styles like this 10 years ago when I transitioned instead of a weekly press. Ahhh...we live and we learn.

  2. Hi Leslie. Yeah. For most of us it's a learning process. You can still do this style though and it will look even thicker and better now!

  3. Hi Leslie, nope I think she is all natural, she just has really loose hair. I subscribe to her channel. I am loving braid outs right now. I was disappointed before because roller sets and twist outs were not very defined for me and I didn't get the results I wanted. Then I finally tried the braid out and it is perfect for my length of hair. I avoided it before because I thought it would take too long, but it doesn't really take longer than what I was doing before. It gives me nice sections with little coils on the end. I can make it last atleast 2 days!
