Are you using too many Protein-based Products?

We pay close attention to what we put on our skin. It's time to know what we put on our hair too. Don't be a deer caught in the headlights, suddenly realizing you have severely dry hair and no idea what to do about it.

Too many protein conditioners and shampoos can leave your hair dry and brittle. If you're suffering from dry, brittle hair, check to see if all your products are loaded with any of the following ingredients.
  • Keratin
  • Collagen
  • Milk
  • Wheat
  • Silk Protein (or anything else that ends with "protein")
  • Amino Acids
  • Egg

  2. Well you'd have to look at the ingredients listed on the bottle.

  4. I'm suffering from an overload withy my thick & tightly coiled 4b hair.

At this point, I don't know what to
do to get rid of it. I use Creme of Nature's Ultra Moisturizing & Detangling Shampoo (the old one with the green letters on the yellow bottle). I use Yes for Carrots' Conditioner AND Hair Mask.

I moisturize almost daily with Green Tree Oil's olive oil daily moisturizer.

    Sigh Lord...

  7. Hey Hypnotic. I'm only sure of the select ingredients I mentioned. You probably need to do some more research online.
