Milani Liipstick in the colour Bonfire |
True to it's name, Bonfire is a red with a rich, coppery undertone. My lips, however, can be quite pink and lipstick never quite shows up fully on my lips. As such, I tends to "wipe out" my lips with foundation before before applying. This colour is shown on my bare lips.

Milani Lipstick in Bonfire after a several hours of wear and a light snack |
This lipstick wears pretty well but shows more red or reddish-pink on my lips after a bit of wear. It's not an all-day colour but will give you a few hours of wear. The colour is quite opaque but isn't pigmented enough to fully cover my freckled lips. Nevertheless, I love the colour. One thing I found is that it isn't very moisturizing. I tend to have very dry lips, but if you look closely at the image above, you'll see some dryness that was associated with wearing this lipstick for a few hours. Even then, it still looks good. It's also easy to remove with a little olive oil (my makeup/lipstick remover of choice).
Wear: Good. Must be reapplied after eating.
Scent: Perfume-like
Opacity: 4/5
Moisture: 3/5
Price: Good (about $3-6 on Amazon)
Rating: 4/5
In the future, I'll wear this lipstick with a light layer of lip balm as a base and a nice, moisturizing red gloss on top. This should allow me to wear the colour all day, only needing needing to reapply after meals.
Love the color! it suits you well
